Watertown is a city located in Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 21,598. (This is the same city as Watertown, Dodge County, Wisconsin, but the statistics are separated by county.)
The city claims to have been the home of the first kindergarten in the United States; the building that housed this kindergarten is now located on the grounds of the Octagon House Museum in Watertown.
