Calhoun is a town located in McMinn County, Tennessee. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 496.
On December 9, 1990, fog played havoc with the worst accident in Tennessee's history; 99 vehicles crashed on a strech of fog-prone Interstate 75 and was listed as the worst disaster in history.
