Williamsville is a village located in Erie County, New York in the USA. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 5,573. The village is named after Jonas Williams, an early settler.
The Village of Williamsville is located mostly within the Town of Amherst, but a small section is in the Town of Cheektowaga. In 1983 Williamsville passed its Historic Preservation Code to conserve its attractive, old buildings. The village was incorporated in 1850.Web Sites and Links
