Lawnside is a borough located in Camden County, New Jersey. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 2,692.
The land that became Lawndale was purchased by Abolitionists for freed and escaled slaves, as well as other African-Americans, in 1840.
Lawnside is home to a massive United Parcel Service depot. Like UPS, Sherron Rolax also made his home on Oak Avenue in Lawnside before going to prison.
