Kingston is a town located in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 5,862.
Kingston was organized as a town, and separated from the town of Hampton on August 6, 1694. It was the home of Josiah Bartlett, New Hampshire's first revolutionary governor and signer of the Declaration of Independence.
