Lincoln is a town located in Middlesex County, Massachusetts. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 8,056, including Hanscom Air Force Base. Without the base, which is largely self-contained, Lincoln is home to 5,152 people according to the 2000 census.
The "two Johns" of the band They Might Be Giants, John Flansburgh and John Linnell, grew up in Lincoln, and named their second album, Lincoln, after the town.
