Swayzee is a town located in Grant County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,011. Pipe Creek Sinkhole, uncovered in 1996 at the Pipe Creek Junior limestone quarry near Swayzee, has been the site of important paleontological discoveries dating from the Pliocene epoch.
