Berlin is a town located in Hartford County, Connecticut. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 18,215. It is known as the geographic center of Connecticut. It was incorporated in 1785. Berlin is residential and industrial.
The town's name is pronounced differently from the English name for the German city of the same name, with stress on first syllable: IPA /'b?l?n/ listen.
