Anderson is a city located in Shasta County, California, approximately 10 miles south of Redding. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 9,022.
The city is home to Anderson River Park, situated on the Sacramento River, but is best known for the Shasta District Fair, which attracts 100,000 visitors each year.
