Oro Valley, founded in 1974, is a growing suburb of Tucson, Arizona located in Pima County, Arizona. Oro Valley is quickly expanding its infrastructure in order to accommodate the sudden influx of new residents. As of the 2000 census, the town had attained a total population of 29,700.
